Brown rice is unrefined. It is unbleached. It contains vitamins and antioxidants. It is healthier because it hasn't been stripped of its bran and germ.
I must admit, I have never been a fan of brown rice.
Mine always cooks unevenly. AND it's never done when dinner is.
I was recently converted into a brown rice enthusiast.
