Scramble

For salty snacking this is one of the best. This homemade version of chex Mix will keep you going back for more. The recipe is as old as the hills and makes great gifts.

Ingredients

• 2 lbs mixed nuts optional
• 12 oz rice chex
• 12 oz corn chex
• 10 oz cheerios
• 10 oz pretzels
• 2 cups oil
• 1 tbsp garlic salt
• 1 tbsp celery salt
• 1 tbsp onion salt
• 1 tsp Salt
• 3 tbsp worcestershire

Course Appetizer, snacks Servings Batch Ingredients 2 lbs mixed nuts optional 12 oz rice chex 12 oz corn chex 10 oz cheerios 10 oz pretzels 2 cups oil 1 tbsp garlic salt 1 tbsp celery salt 1 tbsp onion salt 1 tsp Salt 3 tbsp worcestershire

Recipe Notes

Pour all cereal, pretzels and nuts into giant roaster.  In separate bowl mix oil, salts and Worcestershire. Pour oil over cereal & nut mixture.  Stir.  Bake 250 for 2 hours.  Stir occasionally during baking.
