Rabbit & Dumplings
You could definitely use chicken.
It makes no difference to me if one begins with a chicken or a rabbit. I don't think there is much of a difference in taste. Perhaps, rabbit meat is a bit sweeter than chicken but that is the only variation I can find.
This stew is hearty, comforting and soul warming. At my house there is always a war over dumplings. My youngest is accused of being a "dumpling hog." Everyone wants more dumplings . . .
