It's blackberry season here in Kentucky. The blackberries grow wild along the woodline and around here we take full advantage of the free fruit.
Foraging is a fun way to spend time with children. I have had different foraging buddies over the years. Right now my youngest son (he's 11) is hunting berries with his mama regularly. We usually go out every other day, but I'm sure there would be plenty to find daily if we set out . . .
