Back to Roots Gardening Basics

Back to Roots Gardening Basics

There is a movement happening.

Have you noticed it?

Old fashioned living is BIG.

Living more authentically.  Becoming more sustainable.  Slowing down.

One of the key factors to living the simple life is to grow some of your food.  Anyone can purchase food from the local store or market, it is quite another skill to know how to grow your own,

Imagine, knowing how to start seeds.  How to fertilize your soil organically.  How to grow your groceries.

If imagine if all the supermarkets and fruit stands ceased to exist – could you keep going?

This is where the gardens begin.  They begin with a dream.

Did you know:

  1. Diatomaceous Earth is a natural product that kills cabbage worms, snails and slugs?
  2. There are numerous ways to garden without weeds?
  3. Herbs are not only super easy to grow, they can make a fantastic income source?

To learn all about these gardening hacks and SO MUCH MORE you should join the Organic Gardening Class that is happening now on this little blog!

If you have ever wanted to grow some (or all of your food) this class is for you.  It is fun, educational and there are new classes added every Saturday.

It’s not too late.

There is still time.  Previous classes are available to watch (or rewatch) throughout the series.

The SUMMER GARDEN Series is on now

The summer gardens are planted but the fun is just getting started.  Participants are learning how to grow vertically.  How to fight pests and diseases naturally.  And how to prevent problems before they happen.

And no one is using RoundUp or Seven Dust.

WHAT’S THE DEAL?

This class is designed for brand new gardeners and experienced ones.  Garden basics are covered as well as Master Gardener tips and tricks. I am a certified Master Gardener, by the way.  Which means, I took (and passed) the 4-month class.  I volunteer about 80 hours per year and I obtain at least 10 hours of continued education each year.

It’s a great program and will turn anyone into an introductory botanist.  LOL

The class is great.  I’m sharing all sorts of gardening tips, hacks, and insider info.

You don’t need to become a Master Gardener, buy a volume of gardening books or be a botanist to grow your own ingredients.

I have been growing food for my family for years and I can teach you how.

Classes are video driven but come with outlines and an overview of what is covered.

You will join me (Hi!  I’m Candi) in my garden with my family.  You’ll see what we plant, how we grow it and why.

To learn more about joining go HERE.

XO,

Candi
