This Week in my Kitchen...
We had a frost advisory last week.
This translates into - RUN to the garden and pick everything.
I have a few beds filled with cold-hardy plants (cole crops). They are just fine and will actually benefit from the cooler temperatures.
It was the last of the summer varieties that were under attack.
A little dip below 35 degrees can take out a basil plant or parsley plant in a matter of minutes.
Whimps.
