I was attending a potluck picnic my church was having.
I tend to be leery of "potluck" dishes. Even the name suggests we should be cautious. It just seems to me that the adjective "pot" when referring to "luck" suggests that this is not going to be very good luck. I'm also guessing that when you eat at a potluck you are taking some risks. I suppose we are all doing . . .
