I hope you guys had a wonderful Christmas this year!
We had a great Christmas. It was probably one of the most relaxed Christmas weeks I’ve had in 5 years.
Because Christmas was on a Sunday and we didn’t do any school the week prior to the big event, we had a great time baking and relaxing and hanging out.
I intentionally avoided my laptop so I could give my family my full attention. It’s easy to sit down to blog and look up 3 hours later….. wondering what in the world just happened to my day. I am not the best at time management or organization for that matter. I am great at drinking coffee and feeding children. 🙂
In addition to the 4 wonderful kiddos, DH and I are small business owners. It’s a busy time for the pawnshop – so I’ve been there trying to avoid the gun counter on a fairly regular basis.
I’m actually heading there now to help out. The days after Christmas are just as busy as the days leading up to it.
Thankful for all the blessings, the children, the food, and life I have been given. Also, I’m constantly grateful for each of you. I know your time is precious and limited. I am always humbled and amazed when one of you carve a bit out of your day to stop by and visit this little blog. Thanks for reading.
Have a great week everyone!
XO,
Candi

12/28/2016Can you tell us a little about your homeschooling style?
Candi
12/28/2016Interesting that you asked that – I have considered starting a completely separate blog all about homeschooling and children and life. I have been intentional about keeping this blog about homesteading. I LOOOOOOOOOOVE to talk about homeschooling just as much as I love to talk about pigs. I’ll work up a bit of a homeschooling overview for fun. If you haven’t followed the blog you can here: https://farmfreshforlife.com/follow-via-email/ … that way you’ll get the post when it goes live.
Thanks so much for asking!!!
Blessings,
Candi
