We Have Lambs!
I feel one of the most rewarding parts of homesteading is watching new life on the farm.
Spring is such a magical time. It brings rain, daffodils, and warmer temperatures, but the most exciting part of spring is probably the baby animals. Calves, baby bunnies, chicks, and lambs!
Our flock consists of a small herd including 6 ewes and one ram.
The first ewe delivered a precious set of twins last week. Mama and both babies are doing well.
Once the lambs are here there are several precautions we take to keep an eye on the new . . .
