I would like it to be on the record that I am competent when it comes to milking cows, canning tomatoes, and crafting homemade bread.
On the other hand, I am no interior decorator.
You see, the problem isn't that I can't find a decorator. The problem is that I have no money.
When you have a farm, cows, chickens, and raise groceries, it tends to consume any available funds.
SIDENOTE: If you are homesteading to save money - you may want to rethink your life goals. Homesteading is wildly satisfying . . .
