Homegrown Green Beans

I love fresh green beans.

When I can't eat fresh from my garden, I eat home-canned goods from my basement.  

I always "put by" a few hundred jars of fresh produce in summer to get me through winter.

Green beans are on the 'must can' list at our place.  They are easy to grow.  One plant will produce a surprising amount of beans.  And, once green beans are properly pressure-canned they last quite a while.
