Choosing the Right Bunny Hutch
Let's talk about bunny hutches.
There are really 4 different types of bunny hutches:
- Indoor Pet cages
- Outdoor Pet hutches (for keeping rabbits just for pleasure)
- Outdoor hutches for raising/growing rabbits (to slaughter weight)
- Outdoor hutch for breeding
On our farm we started with a hutch for keeping outdoor rabbits (pets) and quickly moved on to needing breeding quarters and raising bunnies for meat.
