It is August, and for all of us die-hard gardeners, there is no time for cooking right now.
We need easy meals that can be thrown together in minutes because we have other things to do (like boil jars).
Even if you aren't fighting blight, weeds, and bugs in your garden, you are probably getting the kids ready to go back to school, squeezing in a vacation, or just trying to relax and savor the last days of summer.
The good news is, because it is August, there are plenty of fresh foods ready to eat . . .
