Fern decided to explore the farm.
I was in my car, driving up the driveway, on my way to the pawnshop (DH and I own a pawnshop), when my 11-year-old son proclaimed, "Mom, the pigs out! The pig is out!"
Yup, the pig was indeed walking in front of my car. And the gate to her pen was lying on the ground. Ugh.
We stopped the car and grabbed a bucket of hog feed and ran after Fern.
Fern, had no interest in the bucket of feed because I had just (1 hour earlier . . .
