This frosty treat is sweetened with maple syrup instead of sugar. Maple syrup is my favorite sugar substitute. It isn't bitter (like honey). It isn't processed (like stevia). It isn't toxic (like aspartame).
And it tastes like caramel.
I started sweetening my coffee with a little maple syrup years ago & I actually prefer it. There is nothing else in a cup of coffee that is a wonderful as maple syrup . . .
