Melt the butter and use an electric mixer to mix in the peanut butter, confectioners sugar, and milk.

Once it’s all mixed up grab a wooden spoon and it will all come together into a giant clump.

Use your hands to roll the centers into one inch balls.  Place them on a parchment lined baking sheet.  When they are all rolled, move the tray to the freezer to harden 15 minutes or longer.

Melt chocolate in the microwave or on the stove top with a double boiler.  Stir in the coconut oil.

Use a toothpick to dip the peanut butter centers into the chocolate, leaving a bit of the peanut butter exposed.  This makes them adorable (it also makes them look just like buckeyes – a name they are also known for).

Return the balls to the parchment paper after dipping in the chocolate and let them set.  Store in the refrigerator.
